Once the seat of one of Asia’s most magnificent early civilizations, Cambodia is a small country with a big history. Every year it attracts millions of tourists for it is largely a land of plains and great rivers. People of Cambodia are considered as Asia’s most friendly and welcoming people. Much of tourist visiting Cambodia derives delight from the host of memorable landscapes in the countryside and sleepy towns and cities. Much of the country till date is refreshingly untouristed and in many places it is largely unexplored.

Day 1
Arrival at Siem Reap

On arrival at SiemReap Airport, cross through the immigration. Meet professional language guide who will escort you to your hotel. Check in and rest for a while. Spend the rest of the day at leisure exploring the city at your own pace. Towards the evening, head back to the hotel to spend overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 2
Siem Reap- Angkor Tour (Meals- Breakfast)

Post breakfast proceed to uncover the ancient mysteries of Angkor temples on full-day tour from Siem Reap. In the company of an accomplished guide, explore the jungle covered temple of Ta Prohm- famous for its marvelous sight. The sky-touching big trees and huge creepers embracing the stone foundations symbolizes that man's creation is being reclaimed by the powerful forces of nature.
Later, marvel at the astounding architecture of the surrounding temples including Banteay Kdei, Sra Srong, Ta Keo, Krol Ko and Pre Rup Temples. Later in the noon after lunch hop on Remork- a small open-sided taxi common in Cambodia. Enjoy the comfortable journey round the suburb of Siem Reap town in Remork. As the day retires, get back to the hotel to spend overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 3
Explore Cambodia's Ancient Monuments & Treasures at Angkor Tour (Meals- Breakfast)

Have breakfast at the hotel and depart from Siem Reap hotel to the Angkor region for a full day sightseeing tour to explore the ancient ruins. En route admire the scenic surroundings. First stop is South Gate of Angkor Thom which is popular amongst the tourists and the locals for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone. Continue the day trip to Bayon Temple- the central temple of the ancient city of Angkor Wat. Now make your hay towards the renowned Royal Enclosure and Phimeanakas. Visit Elephant Terrace and climb up the staircase to enjoy the best view of the whole area without any obstacle.

Later visit the Terrace of the Leper King which is the largest temple of angkor Wat built during the12th century. The temple covers an area of about 210 hectares and is considered as the most complete temple. Walk around the huge architectural building and visit many galleries with columns, courtyards, libraries, pavilions and ponds full of water reflecting the towering temple. Meanwhile, before retiring back to the hotel to spend overnight visit Preah Khan, Kravan, Neak Pean.

Day 4
Boat Cruise from Siem Reap to Benteay Srey (Meals - Breakfast).

Pick up from your hotel, transfer under the guidance of an experienced English speaking local guide to Benteay Srey which is 37 km North of Siem Reap. En route visit an ancient mountain-top temple complex, Preah Dark- an official UNESCO World cultural heritage site.

Later pray at Banteay Samre Temple famous for the scenes of Vishunu as well as Krishna. Do not wander what else to do in Siem Reap. “The Floating village” is the next stop. Enjoy a tuk tuk ride in this authentic Siem Reap floating village. However, the quality of the experience depends on the floating village you go to.

Later enjoy a boat ride in a traditional wooden boat on the Tonle Sap Lake which is one of the largest in Asia and the "Great Lake" of Cambodia. Spend the remaining day exploring the "Chantiers Ecoles - Les Artisans d'Angkor" where young Cambodians are trained in an effort to continue with the ancient Khmer traditions of stone carving and wood sculpting.

As the long tiring day comes to an end, retire back to the hotel to have a peaceful sleep in the comfort of your bed.

Day 5
Board Flight from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh (Meals - Breakfast).

Post breakfast check out of the hotel. Enjoy the rest of your day at leisure. Explore the city at your own pace until transfer to the airport to board domestic flight to Phnom Penh. On arrival at Phnom Penh, check in the hotel and spend rest of the day at your own pace strolling down the streets of the beautiful city.

Day 6
Day Tour of Phnom Penh City (Meals - Breakfast).

Treat your taste buds with mouthwatering breakfast and then visit Independence Monument. Hire and ride a bicycle to the Royal Palace which was built in the year 1866 on the site of the old town by King Norodom. Later visit the silver Pagoda- famous for its 5000 silver tiles. The temple is located within the grounds of the Royal Palace and treasures inside the temple include a solid gold Buddha encrusted, a small 17th century emerald and baccarat crystal Buddha.

Enjoy a scrumptious lunch at a local restaurant. Post lunch continue the trip to National Museum also known as Musee des Beaux-Arts. It was designed in the year 1917 by French archaeologist and painter, Georges Groslier. The museum houses collection of Khmer art , notable sculptures of all the ages.

The last destination of the day long trip is Wat Phnom Temple, Phnom Penh's namesake. Here experience the magnificent views over the tree-lined avenues of Phnom Penh during sunset. Spend Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Day 7
City Tour of Phnom Penh (Meals - Breakfast).

Before starting with the city tour of Phnom Penh have breakfast at the hotel. The first stop for the day long tour is Toul Sleng Prison Museum and the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek. They both are the live places that reminds of Cambodia's bloody past under Pol Pot. Here visit Buddhist memorial at Choeung Ek which has been built in the memory of 1.7 million victims of the 1975-79 Pol Pot regime. Later during the noon visit Phnom Penh’s Psar Toul Tom Pong, also known as the Russian Market. The elegant market is famous for buying souvenirs, curios and silks. During the evening hop on a one hour cruise on the Mekong River. Spend overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 8
Phnom Penh- Day at Leisure (Meals - Breakfast).

After a sumptuous breakfast step in your comfortable shoes to spend the rest of the day at leisure. Stroll down the streets of the city as per your convenience either in local transport or on foot visiting the various tourist destinations located in Phnom Penh. As the day retires, start packing your bags. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 9
Day at leisure till Departure from Phnom Penh

Post breakfast at hotel, check out and get transferred to the airport for your flight back to home
